In high school, I was in a lot of clubs but most importantly, I was also a volunteer librarian assistant. I would use my volunteer access to try new, incoming
books in order to learn about subjects that were not available in my curriculum or course availablity. Our high school course
offerings were very limited, I took the time to learn Dreamweaver and Flash from my Tech room teacher after school and online. I
taught myself animation through what was available online, studying animation and in the library.
I learned layout, illustration, photography, website design and typography from my first diploma in Graphic Design from
Seneca@York. I was trained in Microsoft Office and have used Excel, Word and Outlook in an office and workplace environment.
When I went to study Advanced Digital Media at George Brown, I initially took the program to learn 3D modeling and animation.
I learned video editing and motion graphics in AfterEffects. I also was taught UI design and web coding. From this program, I
was able to get my foot in the door of coding and continued to advance my learning after graduation through self-study.
I have continued my education after graduation by learning more coding and video game designs. My primary interest is 3D, with
a focus on interactivity. I am currently learning VR and Web VR.
I am inspired by sequins, merry-go-rounds, funk, Eizin Suzuki, Crazy Ken Band and Tatsuro Yamashita.
I like working in 3D programs like Blender and 3DStudio Max and making books by hand.
